FIELD TRIP TO LOMBARDI RANCH

Bruce had a day off work so we decided that would be a GREAT day to take a field trip to Lombardi Ranch. Of course, that day it was in the high 90's. Oh, well, we all had a great time!

The Queen at Work

Bryce and Samantha went to the pumpkin patch too. Sometimes having as sister who is a queen isn't so bad!

One of Bethani's duties as queen was to work at our local pumpkin patch. I'm not so sure it was really work, but she had a lot of fun!

Edwards Air Show

It took us 2 hours to get into the gate (it normally takes us 30 minutes). It was incredibly hot and the kids were hungry. It was not Mommy's favorite day! The kids had fun for the little time we spent at Edwards.

Is it Bobby Flay?

No, it's not Bobby Flay but with that nice new range who would know?! After not having a working oven for many, many months, my new range was delivered yesterday. I'm so excited to finally be able to bake cookies for my family! Bruce was even excited about the new range! He was so excited that he offered to cook breakfast this morning!

My Grocery Store Adventure

After church today I decided I would go get groceries. I usually prefer to do this without the kids, but since Bruce has been working security at the fair he wasn't home. So we headed to the store. While I was shopping I realized that I couldn't use my ATM because it had been "compromised" and the bank was sending me a new one. No problem, I thought to myself, I have my checkbook. After shopping for an hour (we had no food in the house) with three kids, I was finally ready to check out. All the groceries are finally unloaded and the kids are helping me put them in the bags. The cashier tells me the total and I write out the check. Then, the cashier says,"can I see your ID?" I reach into my purse to find that I have no wallet. Without my wallet, I have no ID! So, guess who didn't get any groceries today? That's right, ME!
